tesla model xTesla is one company that you ought to look out for when it comes to electric vehicles, as they have had a decent amount of experience in the past in this particular department. However, the Model X SUV which was unveiled a couple of years ago does not seem to move along on a smooth path when it comes to a release, having been said to enter production some time early next year. Well, it seems that the road to its release is a bumpy one, and the latest word would be it being made available to the masses not early next year, but rather, in the second half of next year.

At least with the new Dual Motor drive that is found on the Model S, the powertrain for the Model X is touted to be close to completion, although there is a very real need to be involved in additional testing. In a letter that you can read through the source link (PDF file alert), Tesla CEO Elon Musk did admit that the criticism it received concerning the seemingly chameleon-like release dates is valid, but Tesla would prefer to err on the side of caution, rolling it out only when it is good and proper.
