onedrive-10tbIt was at the end of last month when we brought you word that Microsoft will be offering Office 365 subscribers with unlimited OneDrive storage, which is good news, really. Well, it seems that Microsoft is quick to fulfill their promise, having begun to roll out this unlimited OneDrive storage to Office 365 subscribers. At least those who have been waiting all this while no longer need to fret, as Microsoft had already begun to send out emails to folks who had signed onto the waiting list earlier on for an increase in their virtual storage.

At time of publishing, it looks as though the “unlimited storage” does not live up to its name, as one would be able to take advantage of up to 10TB of storage space for free. The thing is, it ought to suit most of the ordinary users out there, especially if all you have to stash away are work documents, although I am quite sure that those who deal with digital imaging files might want to look elsewhere.

Assuming you actually hit that alleged cap, Microsoft claims that you can always send in a request for additional storage, and it shall be done unto you right away. Sounds too cool, yes?
