There is a considerable amount of time left before it comes due for Samsung to release an updated version of its flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S series, but already the rumors have started following. We have got a new one to share today. It is being rumored that the upcoming flagship, which will probably be called Samsung Galaxy S6, is going to have an all-aluminum body and a curved screen.

If this rumor holds its own weight then that means the Galaxy S6 will not simply have a metal frame, it will be fashioned entirely out of aluminum, which is something many Samsung fans want the company to do.

As far as the curved screens are concerned, Samsung has already experimented with this idea. Just a few months back it launched a smartphone called Galaxy Note Edge, the display on this device is curved to one side. Similar treatment is expected for Galaxy S6 where the screen would be curved at both left and right sides.

There has already been a report about a Galaxy Note Edge-like variant of the Galaxy S6 but the scribe that published that report has backtracked, claiming that this model has died on the drawing board.

Samsung hasn’t confirmed anything as yet regarding its future lineup, particularly this smartphone, and its history shows that an announcement is more likely at MWC in Barcelona than CES 2015 in Las Vegas this January.
