The whole idea of bike couriers would be to have selected purchases delivered right to the doorsteps of Manhattan-based folks in a matter of hours after placing an order. Of course, this means that big ticket items that are large and bulky would still have to be delivered the traditional manner, such as refrigerators or a large screen TV. Hopefully these upcoming bike couriers will not only be efficient in sending their goods, but also do so in a safe manner.
