Amazon is well known to be the delivery service king, where they have also explored the possibility of making deliveries of your online order through the clever use of drones. Having said that, the company is not one to rest on their laurels, and they have just introduced a brand new service that they call Prime Now – which will allow Prime members to place an order for “tens of thousands” of “daily essentials” – and yet can look forward to an immediate delivery, now how about that when it comes to efficiency?

You will first need to download the new app which is available on iOS or the Android platform, where you can then choose between a one- or two-hour delivery between 6AM and midnight, complete with tracking. Of course, since there is no free lunch in this world, the speediest option will set you back by $7.99 for each order, while the two hour deliveries happen to be free for Prime members.

I suppose this is a brilliant move by Amazon, taking into consideration how we live in an instant generation, and with the holiday season rush coming up, those who love making last minute purchases can depend on Amazon to deliver those gifts in double quick time – at a price, of course.
