blustudio7We have seen Blu introduce its fair share of smartphones in the past, where most of the time, these handsets would flirt around with the mid-range side of things, although there has been several “flagship” handsets. Why “flagship” in inverted commas? Well, they would not be able to hold a candle to the more established names out there, but are pretty much as good as it gets from Blu. This time around, we have a 7” behemoth that is aptly known as the Blu Studio 7.0.

This would be the first 7” phablet from Blu which will run on the Android mobile operating system, and it is available over on Amazon for under the $150 price point. As for the hardware specifications, do not be blown away, as the Blu Studio 7.0’s 7” display comes with a paltry 1024 x 600 pixel count, where it will run on an unspecified dual-core 1.3GHz processor with ARM Mali 400 graphics, accompanied by 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal memory, 802.11ac Wi-Fi connectivity, a 5MP camera at the back with autofocus and an LED flash, a front-facing 2MP camera, a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, Bluetooth 3.0, an integrated FM radio, support for GSM HSPA+ networks and Android 4.4 KitKat as the mobile operating system of choice.
