Multiple reports have come in out the problems that Destiny players are facing on the PlayStation 4. Tomorrow the first DLC, titled The Dark Below, is going to be released for this popular game. Before the DLC lands it appears there’s some problem with the title because players are being locked out of it on Sony’s console.

There has been no confirmation as yet from Bungie explaining what is causing this to happen, so we’ll have to wait and see what the developer’s response to this is. A fix is being floated online for players who have a digital copy of Destiny installed on their console, but its merely a temporary fix.

The problem arises after The Dark Below DLC has been purchased. Once they purchase is made, the entire Destiny game is blocked off and a countdown time is shown which is ticking down to the time the first DLC goes live. An image uploaded on reddit shows what Destiny players on PS4 are facing post-purchase.

There have been some reports from people who own discs that they are not facing any issues with Destiny after purchasing the DLC. For those who own a digital copy, deleting the game, downloading it again and reinstalling it seems to fix the problem for the time being.

Even if Bungie is not quick to address this issue, Destiny players only have to wait until tomorrow because that’s when The Dark Below DLC will finally become playable.
