htc-one-review-m8-labshot-12We have been hearing a fair bit of rumors regarding the HTC Hima, the alleged successor to the HTC One M8. Well if you’re looking for more confirmation of its hardware specs, Upleaks has recently posted a bunch of specs of the handset which more or less confirms what we have already known so far.

Of course all of this is just rumor and speculation for now, but hopefully the actual handset doesn’t stray too far from the rumored specs as it certainly sounds pretty good. The HTC Hima is rumored to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset with 3GB of RAM, a 5-inch Full HD display, a 20.7MP rear-facing camera, and interestingly enough Upleaks has suggested we could be looking at a 13MP front-facing camera or a 4MP UltraPixel front camera instead.

The phone is also expected to come with a 2,840mAh battery and will also run on Sense 7.0. This is a little odd as many had expected Sense 6.0, but according to Upleaks Sense 6.0 is meant for current devices via the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, but Sense 7.0 is meant for upcoming devices instead, but either way we’ll have to wait and see how true this is.

It is unclear as to when HTC might make the handset official. Previously it had been speculated that CES or MWC 2015 could be good platforms, but a more recent rumor has hinted that HTC might launch the phone at their own event, although when exactly this will take place remains to be seen.
