huluSo you’re heading back home for the holidays where you’ll probably meet up with old friends, hang out with family, and as fun as that is, sometimes a little “me” time is always a good thing. Well if you’re looking forward to catching up with some of your favorite shows during the holidays, Hulu’s got a little gift for you.

Now previously using Hulu on your Android device meant that you would need to pay for a Hulu Plus account. However just for this holiday season, Hulu has decided that they will give Android users the ability to stream videos for free regardless whether they have a Hulu Plus account. For those who already have a Hulu Plus account, we guess this doesn’t really change anything.

For those who don’t, this is a good time to try out the service and decide whether or not it is worth it to keep paying for it even after the offer ends. Given that Hulu Plus will set you back $7.99 a month, why not save some money by taking Google/Hulu up on their offer? The offer was originally announced on the Android Google+ page and presumably it will run for a limited period of time.

It is unclear when the offer will end, but you’ll want to hurry to take advantage of it. We should note that Hulu is not available outside the US, so if you’re living overseas then you’d be out of luck. In the meantime the Hulu app can be downloaded via the Google Play Store.
