Kangaroos are cute creatures that are native to Australia, where they have also proven themselves to be an inspiration when it comes to saving the life of infants. Apart from that, we also have robotic kangaroos, known as the Robo-roo which theoretically speaking, is able to hop around forever. Well, one thing is for sure – kangaroos might be cute, but they do have their temper, and in the case of this YouTube video that you see above, it has managed to punch a drone out of the sky!
Apparently, a drone operator over in Australia was rather surprised after underestimating just what an irritated kangaroo is capable of. After all, you do fly your drone around animals at your own peril, as you can see from this example here. Just like how us humans hate for our privacy to be invaded, I suppose the same would apply to select animals, too.
The drone was busy going about trying to film Eastern grey kangaroos in Australia’s Hunter Valley, and when it got too close for comfort to a doe and her little one, she was naturally enraged as her protective instincts kicked in immediately, where she did give the drone a good whack to send it flying to the ground. Needless to say, the drone has croaked, but thankfully, as everyone on YouTube is able to see, the footage was hardier than the drone itself.
