Are video games getting easiers these days? Some people seem to think so. After all back in the day, the only tutorial one would get for a game would be in the manual, but even then it was pretty much trial and error. Nowadays many developers offer gamers a tutorial stage to guide them through the game’s mechanics and features before getting into it for real.

That being said, the folks at Fine Brothers (the people responsible for creating YouTube videos like “Kids React To The Original Game Boy”) have put together a new video, this time showing kids playing Mega Man, the old school version (amongst other games), and safe to say it seems that many of them aren’t quite used to just how harsh and unforgiving video games were back in the day!

Some choice quotes from the kids who participated in the video include, “There’s death at every corner,” and “I hate this game, it’s…EVERYTHING KILLS YOU!” Of course eventually they will get the hang of it, like most of us did, but what do you guys think? Do you agree that maybe video games these days are a bit too easy?

Also can you recall the most frustrating video game that you played back in the day that made you want to hurl the controller at the TV or put your keyboard through your monitor?
