asus-bluetooth-sigIt was just yesterday when we read about how ASUS teased the masses with a possible ZenFone that will sport a dual camera setup. Well, fast forward to today, and another unknown quantity from the Taiwanese manufacturer has appeared, this time around being a device that carries the codename “ZC451CG” over on the Bluetooth SIG page.

The document does point out that this particular device “is the successor of hot selling smartphone model- ZenFone”. I guess that pretty much gives the game away, especially where it concerns just what one is able to expect as the end result. From what we know, the ASUS ZC451CG will sport a 4.5” display at a 480 x 854 pixel resolution, not to mention a rather low pixel density of 208 ppi, an unknown dual-core Intel processor, 1GB RAM, a 5MP camera at the back alongside a VGA front-facing shooter. There will be Android 4.4 KitKat running right out of the box, accompanied by a 2,100 mAh battery.

I suppose it is more or less a given that the dual camera setup that ASUS teased us with yesterday is a very different beast from the one that we see here, having been revealed over at the Bluetooth SIG page. All in all, it is starting to shape up to be a very mundane mid-range or even entry level device.
