nanodroneWith the FAA intending to have their rules implemented some time in 2017, perhaps you might want to pick up your own drone between now and then since it would be a whole lot more lax at the moment prior to enforcement. However, since there are a fair number of drones out there in the market, which one should you consider? Torquing Group has decided to work alongside Lantronix, a leader of smart IoT (Internet of Things) solutions, in order to deliver secure, onboard Wi-Fi technology for its latest ZANO nano drone.

The ZANO nano drone happens to be an aerial photography and HD video capture nano platform, letting users capture and share in ways that they have never imagined. The ZANO nano drone is touted to debut at the Digital Experience media event which will be held on January 5, 2015, before it is revealed to the masses at CES 2015.

Being small enough to fit into the palm of your hand, the ZANO nano drone is equipped with the Lantronix xPico Wi-Fi module, allowing one to enjoy secure and direct connectivity to both iOS and Android devices. These iOS and Android-powered devices are used to communicate with and control the ZANO. Expect general production of the ZANO drone to kick off in earnest in the second quarter of next year onward.
