falloutpicBack in 2013 there were many rumors that Bethesda would finally be unveiling Fallout 4 during the Spike Video Game Awards. Unfortunately that did not happen and if you were thinking that this could happen this year at The Game Awards, you’re out of luck. Perhaps in a bid to curb the rumors and speculation, Bethesda has confirmed this themselves.

Posting onto Twitter, Bethesda had this to say, “PSA — We’re not showing anything at the Game Awards. We’ll be there to support @MachineGames.” This means that if you were hoping for a surprise Fallout 4 related announcement or an announcement of any of Bethesda’s upcoming games or new games, sorry to disappoint!

Last year there was a mysterious website counting down to the alleged Fallout 4 announce, but unfortunately that proved to be a fake. Instead it was a website setup by a fan in hopes that it would force Bethesda to reveal something Fallout 4 related, although that ploy sadly did not work.

However leaked casting sheets have suggested that the game could be in the works, although sadly it failed to debut at E3 2014 earlier this year. In any case we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled but in the meantime, are gamers still eagerly anticipating the game? Or have you moved on to other titles instead?
