galaxy-grand-3It does look as though the days of the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 are numbered, having spotted what looks set to be the successor, the Samsung Galaxy Grand 3, over at TENAA – which is the rough equivalent of the FCC that we have back home. It is interesting to note that the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 happens to be a pretty strong seller for the South Korean company in the first half of this year, and hopefully the Samsung Galaxy Grand 3 will be able to follow in its footsteps.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand 3 is touted to carry the model number SM-G7200, and while there has been no official announcement concerning this handset, it has already picked up the nod of approval by China’s Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center. It will allegedly arrive in a 5.25” display at 720p resolution, which would not make it too different from its predecessor, sporting a chassis that measures 146mm x 74.8mm x 7.95mm while tipping the scales at 140 grams.

Expect to see a 13MP shooter located right at the back of the device, while there is a 5MP camera up front. A 64-bit, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor is expected to run proceedings from within, while there will be 1.5GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory and a microSD memory card slot with Android 4.4.4 KitKat in tow to keep users happy.
