It was a few weeks back when we first heard that the Galaxy S6 could have a variant with a curved screen, much like the Galaxy Note Edge. That rumor was then set aside in subsequent reports but now it has popped up once again. A reddit user going by SamsungRep2015 claims to have seen two different Galaxy S6 Edge variants, one with a single curved edge and the other with dual curved edges.

A reddit moderator verified the identity of this user who claims to be a Samsung employee. SamsungRep2015 also provided the expected release timeframe for Android 5.0 Lollipop release on the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4 for users in the U.S.

Samsung has reportedly gone back to the drawing board for Galaxy S6 and it is approaching the new flagship with a different angle, this was called Project Zero, and the reddit user says “Project Zero is indeed a real thing.”

If these claims are to be believed then Samsung has definitely tinkered with a couple of Galaxy S6 Edge prototypes but its unclear whether they will ever be made public. The employee recalls hearing “lots of rumblings about crazy new design ideas” which Samsung is considering for Galaxy S6 and its not merely focusing on specs this time around.

History dictates that we expect Samsung’s latest flagship around MWC 2015 which is still a couple of months away. By then we will probably have seen more leaks and heard more rumors about the Galaxy S6.
