The thing is, being able to do so much would also mean one thing – smartphones can be rather fragile, and they certainly are not cut out for the rough and tumble lifestyle, unless we are talking about one of those highly specialized handsets that arrive once in a while from various companies. Basically, most smartphone users would not hesitate in picking up a case for their devices right at the point of purchase – as “insurance” of sorts to ensure that the number of scratches and nicks are minimized in the event of a drop. However, if you would like your smartphone to go “commando” so that all the thought that went into the handset’s design can be viewed in full glory always, the Xperia Z3 does seem to do a pretty good job – even when it goes through a fair amount of punishment, including a drop test that showcases the structural endurance found within the Sony Xperia Z3.
