Microsoft is running a promotion these days called 12 Days of Deals through which it is providing significant discounts on various apps and services. The latest deal brings Microsoft’s music service at a very enticing price point. Xbox Music Pass costs $99.99 per year normally but on Friday it will be offered for $49.99. The deals in this promotion last for one day only so if you want to purchase year-long access to Xbox Music, tomorrow is your day.

The 12 Days of Deals promotion has been running since December 8th and it is a push on the company’s part to speed up sales of its products and services at this time of the year. Tomorrow it is cutting the Xbox Music subscription price in half for just one day.

From 5 am PT tomorrow you will be able to purchase the subscription for one entire year a full 50 percent cheaper than the regular price, $49.99 as opposed to $99.99. In case this is the first time you’re hearing about this service it really isn’t much different from the likes of Spotify and Beats Music.

Over 30 million songs can be streamed on-demand if you have a subscription and Xbox Music is available on a variety of platforms including Xbox One, PC, smartphones and tablets.

Those who don’t want to make this investment up front can sign up for the service anyway by purchasing a monthly subscription, which isn’t being discounted, it costs $9.99 per month.
