xiaomi logoXiaomi, a company that boasted of shipping a million Mi Bands in a matter of three months, is back underneath the spotlight once again with whispers going around that the company is working on a new tablet. According to Business Korea, these rumors of a new Xiaomi tablet would point us in the direction of a 9.2” tablet that is priced to please – as word on the grapevine has it that it will cost approximately $100 thereabouts.

Apart from that, what are some of the other rumored hardware specifications that we can look forward in this tablet from Xiaomi? It is touted to run on a quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 processor with an Adreno 306 GPU, sport 1GB RAM, has 8GB of internal memory, will feature a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution display, and having a performance level that is somewhat on par with that of the iPad mini. The very same sources also point to Xiaomi introducing this particular tablet some time early in 2015, without any further information as at press time as to whether this Xiaomi tablet would eventually make its way to the international market.

Would you think that a mid-range tablet is good enough for your everyday use as a road warrior, or would you prefer to have something else that is far more powerful?
