At the International Consumer Electronics Show 2015 Dish announced its new internet TV service called Sling TV. This service is aimed at cord cutters who don’t want to pay cable providers but would like to watch TV channels. Sling TV brings a limited number of TV channels for a set price, $20 per month, and it has finally been launched.

After Sling TV had been unveiled at CES 2015 the company told interested users to register so that they may receive invitations to try this service when it was launched. Starting tomorrow those users will begin receiving their invites.

The service will be free for a week before they have to pay $20 to continue the subscription. There are no contracts so users can cancel their subscriptions at any time should they so choose.

For $20 per month users will get access to channels like CNN, ESPN, ESPN2, Travel Channel, Maker, HGTV, Food Network, TNT, TBS, ABC Family, Cartoon Network and Disney channel.

There is an option to pay extra for separate channel packages that bring the likes of Disney XD and Boomerang, HLN, Cooking Channel, DIY and Bloomberg to Sling TV. If you’re looking for the big networks, look elsewhere, because you won’t find ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CW or PBS here.

Pre-registered customers will get their invites from tomorrow. Registration will be opened up for all starting next month. Sling TV can be accessed through the app on any iOS or Android device, Amazon Fire TV or Fire TV Stick, Xbox One and smart TVs from LG and Samsung.
