For users who might not need much when it comes to their computing needs, perhaps just a computer to surf the web with, type up documents, send a couple of videos, a Chromebook is perfectly suited to get the job done and then some. Sure, it might not necessarily pack the power needed to play demanding video games or edit videos, but if that’s what you’re looking for then perhaps you should look elsewhere.

However if you want something simple that gets the job done, Acer has unveiled the Chromebook 15. This is the company’s latest Chromebook that will also feature a 15.6-inch display which according to Acer, is the industry’s first 15.6-inch Chromebook, so if you wanted a larger display, perhaps Acer’s Chromebook 15 could be worth checking out. The Chromebook will also feature a 1920×1080 display, although Acer is offering a 1366×768 model that will be priced slightly cheaper.

The Chromebook 15 will be powered by an Intel 5th gen Core processor, although users will also be able to choose between that or an Intel Celeron processor. The Chromebook 15 will also be accompanied by an SSD for speedy startup and access to your file. Acer is also boasting that they have reinforced the build of the Chromebook 15 that should allow it to withstand drops and bumps. The base model Chromebook 15 will be priced starting at $249.99, but expect that price to increase if you wish to outfit the laptop with beefier specs.
