cyoa-twitterWhen you were a whole lot younger, and do happen to read this thing known as “books” – you know, tomes of paper that do not need any battery in order to work, albeit having the most basic of all navigational gestures, I am quite sure that the series “Choose Your Own Adventure” has had some impact of sorts. Well, the idea has been transplanted over to the world of Twitter thanks to a certain Terence Eden, where he drew inspiration from the novel “The Wanderer”, has come up with this idea in Twitter.

In fact, this Twitter-playable game has already picked up thousands of retweets along the way, not to mention received bouquets from those who are always trying to look for something new in the technological world. This extremely short game will kick off on Twitter page “A Dreadful Start“, where players have binary options – which will link to other Twitter accounts that help advance the story.

In this game, you are on the trail since you are being chased, and the odds of survival do seem to be rather slim. The story itself is no fairy tale, that is for sure, where it does take advantage of the 140-character limit to evoke a sense of tension and foreboding.
