google-now-launcher-droid-turboAndroid 5.0 Lollipop has been out for a while now, but yet some of you guys have yet to receive the update on your phones. We’re sure that for the most part, you will be getting the update eventually pending OEM and carrier approval, but in the meantime if you’re looking forward to having some of the Lollipop experience, perhaps downloading the Google Now Launcher might be the way to go.

Google has recently updated the Google Now Launcher and their Google Search app. The updates has brought about some improvements and fixes to the feature, but more importantly the update has brought about the Material Design language that Google has used for Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Basically what this means is that if you were to download the Google Now Launcher and Google Search app, you will be able to give your phone an Android 5.0 Lollipop makeover. We should point out that these are just aesthetic changes and will not actually give your phone the Android 5.0 update, but if you’re all about the looks, then perhaps this could be worth your time.

The updated Google Now Launcher and Google Search are available for download via the Google Play Store, so if you haven’t already upated, perhaps now’s a good time to do so!
