Working for Blizzard is probably a dream for many artists, designers, and developers. After all the company is very well known in the gaming industry and is beloved by many gamers around the world, so why wouldn’t you want to work for them, right? Well one Hearthstone player by the name of Schaard tried to apply for Blizzard and documented his journey.

Now basically if you wanted to work on Blizzard’s Hearthstone game, one of the requirements is that you obtain Legendary status in the game. For those unfamiliar, Hearthstone has a ranking system and Legendary status is where a gamer climbs beyond Rank 1 (essentially Rank 0). This rank is kept and cannot be lost until the end of the season where everything resets.

In the video above, Schaard documents how he tried to obtain the Legendary status to help fulfil one of the requirements needed in order to work on the game. The good news, and it was somewhat touching, is that Schaard managed to hit that rank, but the bad news is that by the time he did, the position at Blizzard had already been filled.

That being said if you’d like to see his journey, do check out the video above, and hopefully this is something that Blizzard notices and will perhaps give him something for his efforts at the very least.
