Blizzard’s Heroes of the Storm has yet to be officially released to the public, although at the moment there are some lucky gamers who have been invited to test out the game. Now if you were one of the unlucky ones who requested an invite but have yet to get one, you’re in luck because you can actually buy your way in.

We should note that Heroes of the Storm is a free-to-play title just like Valve’s DOTA 2, however Blizzard makes money off gamers purchasing costumes and whatnot, and now we guess buying your way in is another source of revenue. In order to get access to the game, gamers will have to pay $40 for a Founder’s Pack.

This is basically the same Battle Bundle that can be found in the game, except that in this case a purchase of the Founder’s Pack will more or less guarantee you access to the beta. It will also give gamers access to three heroes – Raynor, Diablo, and Tyrande. They will also be getting three skins – Commander Raynor, Lurkablo Diablo, and Blood Elf Tyrande.

Gamers will also be able to net themselves a Golder Cyberwolf mount, a stash of gold worth 2,500 that will allow gamers to unlock additional heroes and content, and like we said, immediate access to the game. Blizzard notes that the Founder’s Pack might be removed if too many people sign up for it, so you best move quick if you want in.
