hp-pavilion-miniAt the recently concluded CES 2015 earlier this month, we did find out that there were several new models of computers from the folks over at HP – including the new HP Stream Mini as well as the HP Pavilion Mini. The former happens to carry a starting price tag of $180 for the entry level model, while the latter, which packs better performing hardware, would have a higher entry price point of $320 a pop. Do take note that the HP website has already shown that all HP Stream Mini and HP Pavilion Mini models happen to be out of stock, which just goes to show that there is demand for both form factors.

Regardless, if you are still interested in picking up a highly affordable computer, then you can always refresh your memory on both. They will fit within the mould of a 5.7″ x 5.7″ 2.1″ chassis, tipping the scales at approximately 1.5 pounds along the way. HP did promise that both models would be out by January 14th, but it seems as though the deadline had been missed. Regardless of which particular model that you decide on, it will come with an HDMI port and DisplayPort, so that you can hook up both displays simultaneously. The Pavilion models will arrive with Windows 8.1 64-bit software in tow, whereas the HP Stream Mini will run on Windows 8.1 with Bing 64-bit.
