htc-logoHTC has clawed its way back to relevance in the world of smartphones over the past year, first making quite a splash with their HTC One M7 before following it up with the HTC One M8. Of course, selling high end handsets alone are not going to provide a company with positive cash flow, as most of the time, it would be the mid-range and entry level products that would sell the most – and going by the large volume shifted, translates to much needed revenue. Hence, we have also seen how HTC has been developing their mid-range Desire line over the past year as well. Taiwan’s NCC, which is the equivalent of the FCC, has just certified an HTC device known as the D526h.

Chances are the HTC D526h will be launched as the HTC Desire 526 Dual-SIM, especially since it has received its certification over in Taiwan, which means that is one of the markets that would be on the receiving end – and hopefully, it will not be the only market, too.

It looks as though the HTC Desire 526 will be a successor to the dual-SIM Desire 516 that hails from the previous year. The HTC Desire 526 will support 2G as well as 3G networks, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity to boot.
