htc-desire-826[CES 2015] HTC did experience a dip in its corporate performance not too long ago, and thankfully, it looks as though the worst is over. Having said that, we have seen how HTC intends to cater to the mid-range market – which more often than not, is a lucrative one if you hit it right, taking into consideration how a strong middle class will be able to let companies sell products by sheer volume. The HTC Desire 826 is the latest member of the Desire family, where it will pack a 5.5” 1080p display that ought to be a visual feast, in addition to an octa-core 1.7GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 615 processor.

Apart from that, the HTC Desire 826 also has the likes of 2GB RAM, a 13-megapixel camera at the back as well as another camera of a similar megapixel count in front, a 2,600mAh battery and Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense overlay going for it. Do take note that there will be a couple of models of the HTC Desire 826 in the market – one that will sport a standard 13-megapixel front-facing camera, while the other would carry an Ultrapixel front-facing camera, where the latter ought to be able to deliver improved selfies even in low light conditions.

Those who are interested in picking up the HTC Desire 826 will be able to choose from a quartet of color options, and this smartphone will hit selected markets in Asia first this month without ruling out the possibility of a larger roll out in due time.
