If you’re thinking if you should get a laptop or a tablet, thanks to technology these days we get convertible/hybrid-like devices that can act as either a laptop or a tablet, depending on your needs. For those in the market for such a device, Lenovo has recently announced the LaVie Z Convertible HZ750 laptop.

Like the name and the photos suggest, this is a laptop that can also be converted into a tablet-like device. Unfortunately unlike hybrids, the HZ750’s display cannot be removed from its keyboard, although users can flip it all the way to the back thanks to its 360-degree hinge, effectively allowing it to act as a tablet or table computer."PEOPLE OFTEN FREAK OUT WHEN THEY HOLD IT FOR THE FIRST TIME"

The HZ750 will sport a 13.3-inch display and will be made from a magnesium-lithium alloy case which will ultimately result in the device weighing a rather light 1.76 to 2.04lbs depending on the version, which is pretty impressive. People often freak out when they hold it for the first time, wondering if it’s just an empty shell – it is that light. An Intel 5th gen Core processor will be powering the HZ750 under the hood and will also come with 128GB of SSD storage.

Users will be able to choose 4GB-8GB of RAM, depending on your needs, and it will also come with an Intel HD Integrated Graphics for those who might want to do some light gaming on it. The HZ750 will be priced starting at $1,499 and is expected to be made available come May 2015.
