Lenovo is one of them. The Chinese giant today unveiled a new “ultra-slim” display called the Lenovo ThinkVision X24. According to Lenovo this display “sets the ultimate standard” for ultra-slim displays.

Lenovo ThinkVision X24 is a 23.8-inch display with 1,920×1,080 pixel resolution and a 16:0 aspect ratio. Weighing in at 3.5kg the display is just 7.5mm thin. Lenovo calls this an “OLED-like” level of slimness in an ultra-light and borderless package.

According to Lenovo this is the first monitor to use PCN and next-gen Neo-Blade panel. It doesn’t have a traditional rear cover instead the back side of the panel is monitor back that’s using pre-coated material or PCM technology.

Digital connectivity options on this display include HDMI + DP.  Lenovo promises a viewing angle of 178/178 degrees with a response time of 7 ms and 1000:1 contrast ratio.

Lenovo ThinkVision X24 is priced at $249 and it will begin shipping in May 2015. It comes with a one year consumer warranty.
