Meizu-M1-MiniIt was not too long ago – despite being last year if you would like to take semantics into consideration, that Meizu introduced its mid-range Meizu M1 Note, also known as the mysterious Blue Charm before that. The Meizu M1 Note happened to come with a 64-bit enabled, octa-core processor that offers plenty of bang for your hard earned buck, and accompanying that were rumors of two more handsets that were in the pipeline, ready to be announced – including a smaller variant of the Meizu M1 Note. Well, it seems that there will be an event which will be held this coming January 27th, and speculation is rife that the Meizu Mini Blue Charm would be up next.

Whispers on the street claim that this handset will not compromise in terms of hardware specifications, where it will deliver a similar Meizu M1 Note experience, albeit in a smaller form factor. “Smaller” here being relative of course, as we are looking at a 5” display which would be more than enough for everyday use.

The thing is, is there any proof of this alleged handset on its way close to the end of the month? A leaked photo that you can see on your right, which could very well be mistaken since it might be a panel from the standard issue Blue Charm. However, with a January 27th event all but confirmed, you can be sure that patience till then will pay off.
