facebook logoRegardless of the era or timeline, there will always be a particular craze that surfaces from time to time, whether in the real world or in the virtual one. Facebook, for instance, is now going through its latest phase – where posting your very first profile picture for all and sundry to look on is fast catching on all over the place.

Basically, it works this way – you will need to hunt for your very first Facebook profile picture, before nominating another three friends to do the same. It remains unknown as to when this particular craze kicked off, but some have even deemed this to be the new Ice Bucket Challenge or Neknomination, although it might be premature to go in that direction at this point in time.

In fact, tracking down the spread of memes on Facebook can be a difficult task – some might say impossible, and the term “first profile picture” has already been tweeted 3,600 times in the previous day alone. Just what do you think is the next Internet craze – whether on a social network or through other online channels?

Of course, peer pressure might actually have moved this potential next global craze on Facebook at a far faster pace than originally intended – if there indeed was a whole point to this in the first place. It is like hunting for Patient Zero in matters of such viral nature.
