gs6-uafJust about everyone should be gearing up to look forward to what looks like the annual refresh of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy smartphone model – the S series, and should there be a new model released later this year, it would very well be known as the Samsung Galaxy S6 in order to follow tradition. One just wonders what will happen four years from now, where we would have hit double digits – will the Roman numeral system be used instead, ala the Samsung Galaxy X? Anyways, that is too far away to speculate on – we will concentrate more on what additional details that a User Agent Profile of an upcoming device is able to tell us.

Apparently, the alleged Samsung Galaxy S6 will feature a 1440 x 2560 resolution (QHD) display, where this handset will carry the model number SM-G920A, which could very well mean that this is the model which AT&T subscribers will receive. Apart from that, the User Agent profile would also point out the use of a 64-bit processor running underneath the hood, and since software navigation buttons seem to be missing from the profile, might it translate to the return of hardware buttons? Of course, do take all that you read here with a pinch of salt since it might end up as a dead end or a red herring, but one thing’s for sure – excitement surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S6 is already starting to build up to a crescendo.
