1421132587-md-Viaware1Wearables for the most part look rather boring in their design. Some companies such as Motorola and Withings have attempted to create more fashionable designs that look like regular accessories, but if you wanted something a bit more stylish, you might be interested to learn that Viawear has recently started to take pre-orders for the Tyia smart bracelet.

As you can see in the image above, the Tyia smart bracelet certainly does not look like your typically health/fitness wearable. In fact if we did not know any better, we would have assumed that the Tyia bracelet is just an ordinary bracelet. However under the hood, the bracelet packs hardware that allows it to act as a fitness tracker.

It will also feature an RGB LED notification light that will inform the wearer that they have an incoming call, text message, social media notification, and so on. Its fitness tracking is also compatible with Apple’s HealthKit. Its features are somewhat minimal but if you prioritize fashion over features, then this could be it.

However if you wanted to get more comprehensive tracking features, you’d probably have to turn to devices made by companies such as Fitbit or Jawbone. That being said Viawear has priced the Tyia Gold Edition at $269 as its pre-order price, and the silver edition at $239. You can pre-order one for yourself by hopping on over to Viawear’s website.
