vivo-x5-max-lThere does seem as though there is a race for the slimmest smartphone in the world, where various Chinese manufacturers have already kicked off this “race”. In fact, handsets have grown so thin, touching the 4.85mm level, and it seems that the Vivo X5 Max smartphone is going to get knocked off its perch in due time. The potential “successor”? The Vivo X5 Max L, which is said to be a more affordable model of the X5 Max, although it is a wee bit thicker at 5.1mm. You will not really be able to tell the difference though at first glance, taking in to consideration how small the gap is.

The Vivo X5 Max L will run on a Mediatek processor that will chug along at a decent 1.7GHz, according to the TENAA certification – which is the equivalent of the FCC over in China. As for the rest of the hardware specifications, we are looking at a 5.5” Full HD display, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and a 13MP camera at the back alongside a 5MP selfie shooter in front, letting you capture memories in higher resolution. As for the availability of the Vivo X5 Max L, you would most probably find that it will be limited to China and various countries throughout Asia. Pricing details remain unknown as at press time.
