zte grand x maxplus[CES 2015] When we think of big screen phones, chances are that these phones will not come cheap as big screen devices tend to be thought of as a premium. This isn’t to say that all big screen phones are expensive as there are some affordable ones out there, and if you were looking for such a device, Cricket Wireless and ZTE have recently announced the ZTE Grand X Max+.

This is a handset that will be exclusive to Cricket Wireless so if you wanted to get your hands on it, you will need to purchase it from the carrier themselves. So what can one expect from the ZTE Grand X Max+? Well for starters the phone will come with a massive 6-inch HD display. It will be powered by a quad-core processor under the hood and will be accompanied by 2GB of RAM.

The phone will also come with 16GB of onboard storage that can be expanded via microSD, a 3,200mAh battery supported by Qualcomm’s Quick Charge technology, and will also feature Dolby Audio technology that should enhance the audio quality. The phone will also come with a 13MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP wide-angle front-facing camera. Sounds good? So the next question is, how much will this cost?

According to Cricket Wireless, the ZTE Grand X Max+ will be priced at $199.99 which is admittedly rather affordable. It’s not exactly the most powerful phablet we’ve seen, but if you wanted a big display that won’t break the bank, this should do the trick.
