AT&T Tower

AT&T has added a 7GB tier to its Mobile Share Value plans. Starting today any subscriber can go for the 7GB tier which not only brings this data allotment but also includes unlimited talk and text, unlimited texting from the U.S. to certain countries as well as compatibility with the recently announced Rollover Data feature for just $75 per month excluding device access charges.

There are now 11 tiers for Mobile Share Value customers. This latest tier fills the gap between 6GB and 10GB which can still be subscribed for $70 and $100 per month respectively.

AT&T’s own estimate shows that with 7GB users can stream 60 hours of music and 12 hours of video, surf the internet for 110 hours, publish 500 posts with photos on social media and download 50 apps as well as send/receive 5,000 emails.

In real life though the longevity of this plan will truly depend on the users’ habits, it is not impossible to blow through the 7GB allotment in just one day.

This tier is compatible with AT&T’s Rollover Data feature which shifts any unused data in a given month to the next, the data which has been rolled over can be accessed on all devices that are on a shared plan.

AT&T’s subscribers can sign up for the 7GB plan starting today through the carrier’s website and current customers can do so through the myAT&T app.
