beolit15There are plenty of Bluetooth speakers available in the market today, but if you’re after something that is elegantly designed and with Bang & Olufsen’s stamp on it, you might be interested to learn that the company has recently taken the wraps off their latest Bluetooth speaker – the Beolit 15.

This isn’t Bang & Olufsen’s first forray into Bluetooth speakers. We have seen their portable Bluetooth speaker efforts go way back in 2012 with the Beolit 12, so the Beolit 15 is the latest in their lineup. However it seems that both devices will share some similarities in terms of its hardware, although in the case of the Beolit 15, it has been improved upon.

For starters the Beolit 15 will be slightly lighter than the Beolit 12. It will also pack a longer-lasting battery which according to the company, will last you a good 24 hours before needing a recharge. Bang & Olufsen have also done away with the AirPlay technology in favor of more universal connectivity in the form of Bluetooth, although there are still USB and line-in ports.

It will come with True360 omnidirectional sound and will be available in a trio of different colors – Polar Blue, Natural Champagne, and Shade Rosa. In terms of pricing, the Beolit 12 was rather pricey at $799, but thankfully the Beolit 15 is priced cheaper at $599. Granted that is still a tad expensive as far as Bluetooth speakers are concerned, but if you can justify its pricing with the brand and its design, why not?
