dell-new-chromebookJust like how hotel rooms do get tired after a while, the pace is accelerated all the more when it comes to consumer electronics. Hence, it is far from surprising at all to hear that Dell has already refreshed the Chromebook 11 as expected, although this time around you will find a low-power Intel Bay Trail processor underneath the hood rather than a more powerful Intel Haswell processor such as the Core i3 chip that kept the Chromebook 11 chugging along more than fine last year.

It looks like internal changes were not the only thing that came with this refresh, as the outside, too, would have had its fair share of Dell touches. Dell has decided to redesign the case of the Chromebook 11, while ensuring that those who would like to rock to the Windows platform will now have a chance to do so, with the Windows version of the laptop being known as the Latitude 11 Education Series.

Regardless of which particular model you pick, both of these laptops have been specially designed to cater to the likes of students and educators, although they would be also accessible to anyone who is willing to pony up the dough to purchase them. Other hardware specifications include 2GB or 4GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and 11.6” displays with optional touchscreens.
