huawei-c199-refreshIt looks as though the folks over at Huawei have decided to take a closer look at the Huawei C199S phablet, and would want to do something about that metal-clad device. In fact, they are working on throwing in a spanking new 64-bit processor alongside a gold color option, now how about that? Going gold has always been a pretty safe bet – I remember one of the Nokia 88XX series handsets in the past did arrive in a shade of gold, and boy, was that ever a desirable phone! The gold shaded iPhone from Apple has continued to garner strong interest, and hence, it is not a surprise to hear how Huawei has decided to go down a similar route with the Huawei C199S.

Apparently, the Huawei C199S will arrive with a 5.5″ IPS screen alongside 720p resolution, chugging to the tunes of a Snapdragon 615 chipset. This particular device would also boast of dual SIM support, which means you can actually separate both your professional and personal digital lives, all on a single handset. Throw in LTE connectivity into the mix, and you have got quite the winning combination here.

Expect this updated phablet to take full advantage of its eight Cortex-A53 cores in order to deliver top notch performance, aided by 2GB RAM and an Adreno 405 GPU. It is touted to run on Android 4.4 KitKat with EMUI 3 on top, and you can further expand the 16GB of internal memory via a microSD memory card.
