huawei mwcCome MWC 2015, we’re sure many are looking forward to seeing what companies such as Samsung and HTC have to offer, especially since the rumors are claiming we could be looking forward to some new flagship devices from both companies. However MWC also plays home to other brands, one of them being Huawei who recently posted a teaser on its Twitter account.

As you can see in the image above, Huawei’s tagline for the event reads, “Next is here,” which some have taken to be a play on Samsung’s own invite which was “What’s next”. It also shows a curved design at the bottom, which once again seems to be targeting Samsung who featured a similar curved design, although it seems unlikely that Huawei has a curved phone of their own.

Instead it seems that some are speculating that Huawei could be planning to launch a smartwatch of their own. Back in 2014, the company unveiled the TalkBand which was more of a fitness band than a smartwatch. However later in the year, the company promised that we could expect an Android Wear device in 2015, and with MWC 2015 around the corner, we reckon this could be it.

Unfortunately not much is known about the device for now, but some are guessing it will have 4G LTE connectivity. Either way take it with a grain of salt for now, but if you’re excited to see what other wearables could be arriving in the market, be sure to check back with us during MWC 2015 for the details.
