lg-g3-phone-002We’re sure many are looking forward to seeing what LG has in store for us this year with the LG G4. However if you were hoping for an announcement at MWC, you would be disappointed as previous rumors had suggested that the handset’s announcement at MWC 2015 would be unlikely.

So when can we expect the LG G4? Word has it that it could be launched in Q2 2015 and now according to reports out of Korea, it seems that the Q2 rumors could be right on the money. According to a Korean publication, they claim that LG will most likely be announcing the LG G4 in April 2015 which we guess does put it in Q2 of the year.

The publication claims that LG decided to pass on announcing the handset at MWC because they don’t want to compete with the likes of Samsung who is rumored to launch the Galaxy S6 at MWC as well. Instead, LG is said to spend the extra time perfecting their handset and we guess that would make sense.

The specs of the LG G4 are still pretty much up in the air at the moment, but some of the rumors we’ve heard include how the handset will come with a stylus, while some rumors claim it will have a QHD display while others suggest a 3K display. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but if anything we know that LG will share more details about their new LG Watch Urbane at the event.
