Snapchat may have started out as an app that let users send messages to each other that disappeared after a while but now its much more than that. It is increasingly focusing on bringing content to the app, and if the first Snapchat original series didn’t appeal to you, perhaps a new music video by Madonna will. The Living for Love music video is going to debut on Snapchat today before it hits the conventional channels.
This is the first music video for a song from Madonna’s new album Rebel Heart. Given her superstar status and the fan base that she has there is no doubt that many would turn to Snapchat to watch her latest video.
The Living for Love music video will be available through the Snap Channel on Snapchat apps. Her new album, Rebel Heart, will go on sale on March 10th but the album has already been leaked, twice. In the second leak the 25-track deluxe version of this album was leaked online.
It remains to be seen how much traction Madonna’s new music video is going to drive for Snapchat, which already has a user base that’s 200 million+ strong, that’s impressive for an app that has only been around for three years.
