samsung logo 4If you so happen to have purchased a Samsung Galaxy S4 I9506 (boy, those model numbers can sure drive a person crazy in the long run, especially when you take into consideration the number of smartphones that Samsung alone introduces each year!), which is otherwise known as the Galaxy S4 LTE-A or Galaxy S4 LTE+, depending on which region you live in, you would no doubt have been putting on a glum look knowing that there is no Android 5.0 Lollipop update in sight. Well, it seems that all of that waiting is no longer in vain, since the Android 5.0 Lollipop update is finally here!

This particular handset will feature a Snapdragon 800 chipset, which is similar to that found in the Galaxy Note 3, but for the longest time, it had not jumped aboard the Android 5.0 Lollipop bandwagon – until now, that is. Do bear in mind that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update happens to be available for SIM-free devices in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, in addition to Vodafone handsets in Germany and the Czech Republic. Those who are rocking to China Unicom with its version of the Galaxy S4 LTE-A G9006, too, will be on the receiving end of this update – which by the way, weighs in at a whopping 1.2GB.
