Fancy sending a photo of yourself to your friends and family? Just about all of us have done that in this day and age, what with extremely cheap data not to mention the number of apps that support such an ability on a smartphone or tablet. Well, for those who have already picked up a fair number of friends to their existing list, you will know that responding to all those messages do take a fair chunk of your time – which might see you miss out on some important ones along the way. ScreenPop wants to change that, as this Android app will allow you to send messages straight to the recipient’s lockscreen, now how about that?
In other words, there is no need to unlock the smartphone in order to check out just what particular message has been received – all that you need to do is to take a look at your handset’s lockscreen, and voila! Whatever has been received is shown there. Using ScreenPop is a snap – all that you need to do is to drag left to the camera button in order to snap a picture. From there, make the relevant edits to the image by throwing in a custom text message or drawings, before sending it off.
The recipient will be able to check out what has transpired on a first in, last out basis, and should you unlock your handset before you are done viewing all the received messages, the most recently unseen photo will make an appearance should you see your lockscreen the next time around.
