Competition is tough between mobile carriers these days, particularly between Sprint and T-Mobile, as both want to get big enough to pose a major threat to the likes of Verizon and AT&T. T-Mobile recently claimed that it has passed Sprint as the third largest carrier in the country, Sprint didn’t respond, but it did introduce a new Family Plan which brings 12GB of data that can be shared with up to ten lines.

With this new plan, which costs $90 per month, customers get 12GB data which can be shared across ten lines apart from unlimited calling and texting. Its a new addition to Sprint’s existing Family Share Pack plans.

And now the fine print. This plan is only being offered for a limited time so its good until March 2016. Besides that existing Sprint customers can’t take advantage of this price. To get this price one needs to switch from their previous carrier to Sprint.

Existing customers will have to pay line access fee on top of $90 per month in order to get on this new plan. The fee is $15 per line for existing customers, not much, but it does add up if you’re using all of the allowed lines.

After March 2016 customers who have switched to Sprint and signed up for this plan will then have to pay the line access fee like everybody else.
