youtube-radioYouTube Mix is a pretty great feature for those who want to watch plenty of music videos at the recommendation of YouTube. For those unfamiliar with the feature, basically YouTube Mix creates a playlist of videos that they think you might enjoy based on the music video you are currently enjoying.

However a report from Google Operating System claims that a new feature is in the works called YouTube Radio. Apparently this is a feature that is currently in testing and based on the description in the screenshot above, YouTube Radio is “A non-stop radio station based on the current video. You can like, dislike and dismiss videos to tailor  your Radio Station to your taste.”

What does this mean? If you enjoyed YouTube Mix’s curation of music videos into a playlist for you, from our understanding it seems like YouTube Radio is an extension of that feature and will basically keep playing songs and videos for you until you decide to stop. Users can dislike and dismiss videos which would then help YouTube better learn your preferences.

It is unclear if YouTube Radio has anything to do with YouTube Music Key, or when the feature will be launched, but what do you guys make of it? Is this a feature you would like to see come to YouTube in the near future?
