ant-watch

We have smartwatches these days that can send messages, make phone calls, take photos and much more. The basic feature of a watch is to tell the time and obviously smartwatches to this as well. Would you wear a watch that didn’t tell the time? There would be no sense in doing that but makers of the Ant Watch believe they can change your mind. They’re selling a watch that contains live ants, yes live ants, and we all know ants are not capable of telling you the time of day.

Like any other watch you can wear the Ant Watch on your wrist. At a time it will have 3-5 live harvester ants inside the case. Every few weeks you can feed them a little sugar and then watch them make tunnels in the shake resistant container.

Those who purchase the Ant Watch will receive a vial of 5 live ants, a dropper for food and water, a tool for opening the case, tweezers and one “simple and easy care guide.”

To add more ants to the farm on your wrist just place a vial in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. This will put them to sleep. Then carefully handle them with tweezers as you move them to the watch.

If this interests you for reasons best known to you, the Ant Watch costs $59.
