apple-watch-edition

We have known for a couple of months now that the Apple Watch is going to be available in April. Earlier this year CEO Tim Cook revealed this much without giving away a concrete release date for the company’s first wearable device. Recently the company confirmed its date for the Apple Watch event, the event takes place later this week, and will finally bring the price and availability information that many of us have been waiting for. According to a report the Apple Watch release outside U.S. is also scheduled to start next month.

Many would have thought that Apple will first release its smartwatch for customers in the United States. 9to5mac reports that speaking at the Berlin flagship Apple Store last week, Apple CEO Tim Cook told employees that the smartwatch will not be exclusively released in the U.S. this April. He said that the smartwatch will be released in Germany next month as well.

The report cites employees who were in attendance at the store where Cook spoke. The possibility exists that the U.S. launch might take place in early April and after a couple of weeks the smartwatch might be launched in other markets across the globe.

Or Apple just might choose the same day to roll out its latest product in a handful of markets, it really can’t be said for sure right now, but fortunately in a few days the company will provide official information regarding pricing and availability.
