Best Buy today announced that it is reducing the membership price for its Gamers Club Unlocked program. Members of the program get 20 percent off new physical retail games, 10 percent off pre-owned physical titles and 10 percent bonus trade-in credit on games apart from many other privileges. Members pay upfront for a two year membership which was previously priced at $99.99.

The retailer has substantially reduced the price of its Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked program. Anybody can sign up for the program now for just $30. Membership period remains the same as before so it will be good for two years.

Apart from the aforementioned perks members will also receive exclusive offers, special one-time-use welcome coupons, 2 My Best Buy points for every dollar of game trade-ins, and 2x My Best Buy points for every dollar spent on new physical and digital games as well as game accessories.

The new pricing will be in effect starting March 8th. Once the day arrives folks who are interested in this program can sign up for $30 by visiting any Best Buy store or through the retailer’s website.

Best Buy also points out in its announcement that “Even amiibos are 20 percent off with Gamers Club Unlocked,” so if you had trouble deciding whether you should put $30 down, perhaps this might help make up your mind.
